some fucked up kind of lullaby (spoken word)

This makes me so nostalgic and sentimental, I spent a really long time working on it–and I’m really hoping all that love and care paid off. Also, I’m working for an extra-special video for this one, so stay tuned for that, and I’ll let you guys know when it’s out!

february 23, 2020 (spoken word)

I got a new audio editor! A fancy cool one with like fifty different options for reverb and distortion effects, aka basically my ideal program for working in. (If you’re interested, this was mixed with Adobe Audition and recorded with a Blue Yeti microphone, lol.) Anyhow, my single goal with these piece was to make, like, an angsty retro opera vibe at a theatre where someone was probably murdered, and with some added angst–and hopefully I got that right! You can read the text version here if you want 🙂

“Reflection” by Yakov Golman is found here (https://freemusicarchive.org/music/Yakov_Golman/Piano_album_1/Yakov_Golman_-_Reflection) and used according to this license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).

I know this has a really similar audio mixing scheme to the other spoken word I posted today, but, um… hopefully you don’t mind. 🙂
